Designed for adventurous go-getters who are ready to launch a new venture, our graduate certificate program will give you the tools and strategies you need to get your idea off the ground.
Our graduate certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation provides the foundation to launch successful startups. The certificate includes two online core courses, and two specialized track courses, which may be in-person or online.
Choose electives from the following disciplines:
- entrepreneurship
- international entrepreneurship
- innovation
- leadership
- family financial planning
- social innovation
- veterinary medicine (for Vet Med students)

Credits
Total: 12 Credits
Time: 8-12 months
With approval of the director of graduate education (DOGE), all 12 entrepreneurship and innovation credits may be applied later to an Ivy master’s degree at Iowa State University.
