Event Management-Master of Science in Event Management

Summary

The Master of Science in event management is a program delivered online consisting of 36 credits, including 13 credits distributed over five required classes; six credits from event management electives, six credits from hospitality management courses, five or six credits from courses in other departments, three credits from research methods, and three or four credits from statistics courses. The creative component course will provide an opportunity for students to apply event management concepts to an industry-related project.

Individuals for this program are expected to have responsibilities that are part of mid- and executive-level of event organizations or are event entrepreneurs that have an undergraduate degree in event management, hospitality management, or another related field.

Summer/Fall term admission: March 15th

Spring term admission: October 15th

After these deadlines, rolling admissions will be processed based on availability within the program.
