To help us manage website updates efficiently, we categorize requests into tiers based on urgency and impact. Our team will assign a tier after reviewing your submission.
Tiers 1–3 are prioritized for live updates to the production site (what visitors see). The timing will depend on the urgency and scope of the request.
Tier 4 updates are scheduled for our regular monthly publishing cycle and are first made to the Iowa State Online staging (test) site.
Specific timelines for changes will be communicated once we’ve reviewed your request.
Tier 1: Critical issues that significantly impact many students, instructors, or staff (e.g., major inaccuracies or broken functionality). Tier 2: High-impact issues affecting a smaller group of users. Tier 3: Minor issues or inaccuracies with limited impact. Tier 4: General updates, enhancements, or other non-urgent requests.
